Welcome to the world of Manhattan real estate. It is a world you may have only seen on the show "Law and Order". There are thousands of Manhattan apartments available on a daily basis. However, if you move to Manhattan from the South, or Midwest, then prepare yourself for a totally different price range.
That is just Manhattan apartments. The Manhattan real estate market also includes Manhattan condos. Now, just for a minute I want you to sit down and take a deep breath. Relax and unbutton your jacket. Manhattan condos, depending on whether you live on the Upper West Side or the Upper East Side, will differ in price from $675,000.00 to $750,000.00. There are also Manhattan condos in Chelsea, Tribeca, and the Financial District, depending on your individual tastes.
Such is the case for Manhattan apartments. Whether you choose to call home Tribeca or Grammercy Park, Manhattan real estate will fit your needs perfectly. As a matter of fact, there are websites that will give you full color video tours of any luxury apartment building you are interested in. Whether you are looking for a studio for $2,500.00 a month, or a 2 bedroom one for $5,000.00 a month. Whatever you are looking for, you will find it here.
Here is an F.Y.I. for you. The neighborhood called "Tribeca" stands for Triangle(Tri) below(be) Canal(ca) street. One thing you have to realize. When you live in the greatest and most exciting city in the world, you must talk the talk. For example, MOMA stands for Museum Of Modern Art. When you live in Manhattan, you will undoubtedly have some kind of view of Central Park, or some other famous landmarks.
New York City includes not only Manhattan, but also the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. But most people are only talking about Manhattan when referring to New York City. Even if the rents on the apartments are higher than most areas of America, you are in the center of the world. What's not to love?
So, don't look at the prices of the apartments or the condos as being out of this world. Look at them as being investments in the center of fun city.
